Bass Festival, Rio Vista: Oct. 10-12. An autumn favorite on the Delta, this weekend features an arts and crafts fair, fishing derby, car show, carnival and more. (707) 374-2700.

Cheese and Wine Exposition, Riverbank: Oct. 11-12. Wine and cheese tasting top the list of attractions, followed by a ride-in motorcycle show, three stages with live entertainment and 350 arts, crafts and food vendors. (209) 869-4541.
